ABOUT CRAIGIEBURN LITTLE ATHLETICS
Craigieburn Little Athletics is based in Melbourne's North, located within the City of Hume local government area. Craigieburn Little Athletics strives to provide opportunities for all children, aged 5-16 years in our community, to participate in healthy, safe and inclusive athletic activities in a fun and family orientated environment.
Supporting athletes aged 5-16, we provide members with the opportunity to compete across a range of events during the summer season (weekly track & field), cross-country competitions during the winter season and opportunities to compete at regional and state levels. The wide range of events teaches athletes skills, from running, jumping and throwing and are modified to suit age, developmental stage, and ability of the children.
Little Athletics promotes that it is important to “Be your Best” ®. The emphasis is on fun, participation, performance, technique, and getting involved with your family in physical and healthy activity. The motto of Little Athletics is ‘Family, Fun and Fitness”.
The centre is managed by dedicated volunteers, all of whom tirelessly provide skills, time and assistance to ensure the centre can offer a variety of structured programs for our little athletes. We run our weekly competitions with the help of parents who volunteer their time to make the competition day successful.
No matter what their skills or abilities are, we are all about making sure our Athletes participate, have fun and be the best they can be.
